Donald Trump Tells Story of Attempted Assassination

Last week at the 2024 Republican National Convention, Donald J. Trump, told the story of the assassination attempt on his life.  He seemed contemplative and more concerned about our nation, the crowd that was at the July 13 rally, and especially those who were murdered or injured, than himself.  He gave God the glory for protecting his life:  “I felt very safe because I had God on my side.  I felt that. . . . I stand before you in this arena only by the grace of almighty God.”  Here is the story in his own words.
